FoxFury 72 torch lumen compact white LED firefighter helmet light offering focused and panoramic lighting. Runs on 4 AAs with a (flashing) rear red safety LED to help be seen on scene. Light used in structural firefighting, wildland firefighting, USAR (search and rescue), EMS. Fits most fire helmets. Light output - high: 72 torch lumens; 8 hours run time, medium: 52 torch lumen; 12 hours run time, low: 31 torch lumen; 16 hours run time. 38 degrees wide field of vision. See up to 120-feet away and 48-feet wide. Fits 99 percent of US (American) style fire helmets. Headlamp features 20 LEDs: 18 white and 2 green - white and green LEDs enhances depth perception and color rendition. Rear safety LED (red) for enhanced visibility. Easily accessible tap switch (even with thick gloves). Made of premium materials for extra durability and longer life: nylon 66 housing with polycarbonate lens cover, silicone coated; teflon jacketed cable, silicone switch cover, 1-inches wide silicone strap with high temperature nylon buckle. Silicone straps are covered by a limited 90 day warranty. Note: battery pack is not remotable.

I'm a volunteer firefighter and I first learned about this light because a couple guys on my department had this light. I saw how bright and nice it was and I knew I had to have it. The light is really nice for building searches and overhaul, instead of having to use a light that is clipped onto your coat. This light shines where you look making it very nice. It has three modes of brightness and even the lowest one is pretty bright! I have been using it for awhile now and one of the only complaints I have about it is the button to turn the light on and off is just somewhat small for when you have structural firefighting gloves on but it works. I have heard from other fire fighters that the light will melt, I haven't experienced this but I haven't been up against any big scale fires since I got this light. I like how it has a blinking red light in the back, it is just one more safety measure for when you are on the highway at night. Overall I love this light and it has made my life a lot easier.
