Protip: Order one size up as the sides of these seem to run narrow, as they're optimized for portability. The company has a helmet guarantee and was happy to exchange the helmets for me w/ comped shipping fees. Amazon doesn't have a category to return or exchange for fitment issues, but you can contact the vendor directly and avoid tarnishing their return metrics, ha.The product and company seems to be new, as most if not all of the current reviews have a Vine attribution. I pulled the trigger despite it being an expensive $130 helmet, and have no regrets. This helmet looks, feels, and even sounds great! It has a nice snap+click feel and sound when expanding so you know it's tightly locked when expanded. Definitely a crowd pleaser! Exterior of helmet is hard plastic with two inserts for lights, inside has typical styrofoam protection. The light attachment (front and rear) operation are simple to use, and easy to detach. You can hold it down for 1+ seconds to turn it on. Once on you can single tap the light to switch flash modes, such as: constant, strobe, fade. Must take helmet off in order to see that mode it's on, but I'm confident to just hold the button while riding to know that it's on when going through dark tunnels with cars. It also fades in and out to when plugged in, to indicate it is charging, which is nice. Note that you must use a 5v type-c or the supplied type-a to type-c connector to charge the lights. They're secure and snug, and detachable by wiggling and pulling, or pushing outwards from the inside of the helmet. My only two nits with this helmet is the initial issue with size, if you have a wide head, I'm worried large may not be big enough. The other nit is that it utilizes a "dumb" type-c port, meaning that you must use the supplied USB type-a to type-c conversion cable, as it does not support PD over USB-C, but only 5v. It would not work with any usb-c PD charger (e.g. a macbook or samsung).Overall, a great bang for the buck, you can see and feel the looks and quality of a premium $130 helmet from this product. The company has good customer service if you have issues with the helmet and include a helmet guarantee where if you crash with one, you can exchange it for a new replacement, because they claim to prioritize your safety.I hope the American company is or becomes profitable and thrive. I'd like to see future premium additions such as "PD charging support", chime or BT/app indicator of activated light", camera attachment, modular peripheral support, etc. Wish I got in on the kickstarter but glad I pulled the trigger.Am now a fan of this product and curious to if others run into similar issues with sizing.
